UWF PITCHERS Softball is keyed around pitching. Athletes in all sports are bigger, faster and stronger. Softball is no different. The fences remain the same distance from the plate and, while I doubt the balls have been "juiced" a great deal, the bat technology has certainly improved. Without good pitching, the offensive side could make the game a travesty. |
